How Do I Book?

​

You can contact us by email or call us on 07989 360713 to check availability and reserve your booking.

 

How Much Is The Deposit?

​

We ask for a £650 deposit to secure your booking. This will be payable upon booking. The balance is due 12 weeks prior to arrival. Full payment is due upon booking if it is booked with 12 weeks prior to arrival.

A Cautionary Damage Deposit of £500 is held and returned after your stay should no damages occur.


What Are The Check In/Out Times?

Check in is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 9.30am prompt on the day of departure. If you require any deviation from these times, please contact us before your stay and we will try our best to accommodate you if possible.


What Essentials Are Supplied For Our Stay?

​

A basic weekend supply of the following is supplied for your stay: Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet rolls (2 per bathroom), bin bags, washing up liquid, cling film, tin foil & kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, dish cloths, basic cleaning materials,  one bath towel per person; one hand towel per bathroom; one bath mat per shower/bath.

We have 2 log burners located in the sitting room and dining room. We provide 1 basket of logs per fire. There is a log store on site and an honesty box should you wish to purchase more (please note we cannot provide matches).


What Facilities Are Available During Our Stay?

 

The kitchen is equipped with an AGA, electric fan oven with grill, ceramic hob, microwave, double toaster. two kettles, dishwasher, two fridges and a chest freezer, as well as many pots, pans, roasting tins and cutlery. It also has an iPod docking station. The walk-in pantry is fully stocked with a range of crockery and glassware including cafetieres.

The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Iron, ironing board, indoor clothes airer, hoover and mop are also provided for your comfort and convenience. A BBQ is also available for use (please bring your own charcoal).


What Amenities Are Available For Babies & Children?

 

We have two travel cots (please bring your own cot linen) and three high chairs available on request. The second sitting room has an assortment of board games as well as a games console. There is an assortment of DVDs available for your use in the first sitting room. Older children will likely enjoy using the snooker table in the second sitting room. Outside is a swing seat, a Wendy play house and plenty of room for outdoor games.


Is Parking Available?

There is ample parking at the front of the house.


Is WiFi Available?

 

Yes, there is free WiFi available for use during your stay. However, please note that as the Peak District is in a beautiful rural location, sometimes the WiFi signal can be intermittent, which is beyond our control.


Can We Have Shopping Delivered?

 

For ease, lots of our guests pre-ordered a shopping delivery and you are very welcome to organise this. Please take a look at our Grocery Delivery page.

Can We Smoke Inside The Property?

Smoking is prohibited inside the property; we kindly request that you take advantage of the ample grounds should you wish to smoke.

 

Are Fireworks Permitted On The Property?

 

Unfortunately we cannot permit guests to use fireworks during their stay due to the possibility of close proximity of local livestock.

 

What Is The Noise Policy At Burrs Farm?

 

Due to the quiet rural location, late night noise must be confined to inside the building by 10pm.

What Happens If We Experience Problems During Our Stay?

 

The owner, Annie Cottrell, lives nearby and is only ever a phone call away. She can be easily reached at 07989 360713. Please contact her if you experience any problems so she can do her best to rectify them so you can continue enjoying your stay.

What If Something Gets Damaged During Our Stay?

 

We understand that natural wear and tear is a part of life and that accidents happen, so an honesty box is provided to deal with minor breakages. If any bigger accidents occur, we would appreciate it if you inform us so we can make arrangements for repair to allow the continued comfort, safety and enjoyment of both you and future guests.

 

Any considerable damage necessitating costly repairs will be taken into account when returning the damage deposit.

Do We Need To Clean The Property?

 

While we have a professional housekeeping team, we kindly request that all washing up is done and the bedding stripped before you depart.

Is The Property Dog Friendly?

 

Yes, we do accept dogs at Burr Farm. Please see our Dog Friendly Policy
